Shashank Srikanth
CS Major at Georgia Tech
Hi there! I’m a graduate student at the Georgia Institute of Technology , and am majoring in Computer Science with a specialization in Machine Learning. I am highly passionate about ML Infrastructure / ML Ops and using Machine Learning for applications in diverse fields like Robotics and Social Computing.
I am currently working as a Software Engineering Intern at Amazon Robotics in the Scanless Technology team and building toolds to help automate package pickup and stow in Amazon warehouses.
During Summer 22, I was forunate to intern at the Machine Learning Platform team at Netflix. As a machine learning intern, I developed system-level metrics monitoring and visualization tools for Metaflow, an OSS framework for data-science workflows.
Previously, I completed my Bachelor’s in Computer Science and Engineering from IIIT Hyderabad . I was lucky to be advised by the amazing Dr. K. Madhava Krishna at the Robotics Research Center (RRC), where I worked on trajectory forecasting for Autonomous vehicles. During my junior and senior years, I also pursued research in the applications of machine learning to social computing as part of a four semester directed research study under the guidance of Professor Dr. Ponnurangam Kumaraguru at the Precog Research Group.
